Repair Refurbish Retrofit Replace : Repairs: If your display warrants it, this option is the by far the most economical route to follow. Because of the age of some these EL displays, it is not possible to repair, but we have found that for every 10 displays we receive we are able to repair 7. That's not bad odds. The first sign of a damaged EL display is random missing pixels. It still might be salvageable if an entire line of pixels were to be missing which indicates damaged electronics and has nothing to do with the glass substrate.   Refurbish: Since we repair many EL displays we know the common failing components and as a predictive and preventive measure we recommend this option on displays that are working and in the field. We can perform a 24 hour turnaround and may even have loaner displays on hand. Retrofit: If you have your back up against the wall and your display can't be repaired, there is a possibility that it can be retrofitted with another EL model display using a Capetronics Conversion Kit. Sometimes the displays are beyond repair and we have no choice but to replace it. If you can't find the correct obsolete display model we are going to have to supply a retrofit. Replace: One of the more costly routes to embark on but by far the quickest in terms of downtime, money and production losses.

We have successfully replaced the Sharp LJ640U32, LJ640U34,LJ640U31,LJ640U327,LJ640U35,LJ640U27 with our retrofit C640U32 for Engel and Stoll Knitting Machines and others. Of course the configuration is different for each controller but simply let us know what machine you have.
